Bright and Sparkly Ideas for Your Winter Wedding Decorations
When coming up with a winter wonderland theme, such is not only applicable to the holidays – but a wedding as well. Winter wedding themes are fun to work with, despite the limitations in terms of design and color scheme. However, it is easy to take your silver, blue and white theme and spin it into something extra wonderful as your winter wedding decorations. The limitations should not discourage you from coming up with a great wedding theme – in fact, it should challenge you all the more because it can actually be quite fun!
Great Wedding Decoration Ideas for Winter

The colors are easy as you can get them down quite pat, but there are other great ideas that go with this as well. First, you have the winter wedding invitations. You can give out white invitations and decorate them with a silvery shiny snowflake in the middle, or silver and gold star accents and watermarks. This is easy but it has maximum impact. Second, you can look for winter wonderland trees and have them serve as the border towards the area of your wedding reception venue. You can either decorate the trees yourself or simply buy the ones that are already pre-lighted so it is more convenient. You can also purchase silver sand and confetti and drape these all over the trees.
Adding fairy lights will also light up the room in a big way. For the tables, add white table cloths and use cutlery in silver to match your white plates. These are quite popular with a winter wedding theme and look especially good on a table that has plenty of little silver and gold confetti on it. And finally, arrange an all-white flowery topiary tree as the centerpiece of your decadent winter themed table. You can even add plastic diamonds and some ice drop crystals to really blow your guests’ minds away with a super fabulous winter wedding theme!
