Being asked to be the maid of honor in a wedding is an sign of trust. The bride knows that you will come through for her in various ways, both as the big day approaches and on her wedding day itself.
You and the bride both want this day to be memorable, in a good way of course, and you are there to make it happen. Most of these duties you would probably do anyway, just because you are the bride’s friend. Yet, she has chosen to single you out and honor you with this job so you need to take it seriously.

Dreams can come true, but sometimes the community needs to be involved to make them happen.
Every girl dreams to go to her high school prom but it can be an expensive event.
To help fulfill that dream for any girl in Kosciusko County who may not otherwise be able to afford it, four area students are once again collecting dresses, shoes and other accessories.

Back when the tradition of bridesmaids wearing matching gowns first became popular in the mid 1800s, the dresses they wore would coincide in formality with the time of day the wedding took place. But today, the formal bridesmaid dress is acceptable for just about any type of wedding, including late-morning, afternoon, or evening nuptials.
