I agree with the above comments. Finding anything for a more modern mother of the bride is a nightmare. There is certainly a gap in the market. We don’t want to look like mutton dressed as lamb nor do we want to look like our grandmothers. I’m sure I can speak for most of us modern mothers of the bride when i say we want something elegant, sophisticated but MODERN and that includes some ideas of hairstyles for long and short hair.

This picture most certainly looks like my mother. Remember there are more younger looking moms out there. I consider myself one of them. Need to see more modern hairsytles for long, medium & short styles. As not to over do my hiar on my daughters upcoming wedding day I still want something that does not make a 46 year old look like she is in her 60′s. Just a helpful hint.

I am a 42 year old mother of the bride and cant find a hairstyle. I am in agreement with the other posters, tghe woman shown in the pic looks more like my mom. I need a style that says ” mother” not grandmother, bridesmaid or prom date. any suggestions?

This photo looks like my grandmother! I am 63, but have long hair with soft curls and most people think I don’t look a day out of my late 40′s. I want to wear my hair with the sides pulled back and curls falling softly. How about some better pictures.

I agree! I’m 52 and this model looks older than my mom. She’s lovely, but definitely not the way I want to fashion myself as the mother of the bride. Please hurry, I need ideas!

I would like to see more modern styles to choose from, I too am a younger feeling 48 year old mom. I don’t want to have an updo like the bridesmaids, but would like to look glamorous!!! Need some ideas.

This picture of mother of the bride – looks more like grandmother of the bride. I am 53 but class myself as a young looking 53 – a few more modern younger styles would be preferable.
