What better way to mark your special day than to give homemade wedding favors to your friends and family and make it a memorable day for them too?

There are many options to choose from where your wedding favors are concerned.  Keep in mind that it is not the favors that make your wedding, but they are a nice finish to a spectacular event.

Choosing to go with unique wedding favors is a simple task to fulfill. You can make the favors yourself and give them a personal touch to match the theme of your wedding.  Homemade wedding favors mean so much more to your guests and it shows that you took extra care in giving them something special to remember your special day.  You can also do personalized wedding favors without spending a fortune.  They take very little time to put together and you could use the help of the bridal party in making them.

If you’re having a beach themed wedding, then you can do something simple like a message in a bottle favor.  You can go to the craft store and purchase miniature bottles with corks.  You would then print out your wedding information such as your names and date, on little pieces of paper.  Then roll each piece of paper like a scroll and tie it with a ribbon, putting it in the bottle. The other end of the ribbon can be tied to the cork so it all stays together.  Place a little bit of sand in the bottom of the bottle and there you have it.

There are also plenty of websites that offer printing on such things as magnets and business cards.  You can take advantage of this by using a photo of the two of you (husband and wife) and having your wedding information printed on magnets.

You can also go with very inexpensive miniature plastic champagne flutes.  You can fill them with mints and print out stickers with your information on it to be placed on the outside of the flute.  This takes all of a few minutes to do and can be put together easily by anyone.

There are many people who want to be a part of your special day, but it can be next to impossible to include everyone in the wedding party.  This is where you can enlist the help of those who cannot be in the wedding party.  They will still feel as if they made a good contribution to helping you create your special day.  You can include children, friends, and relatives.  This way everyone gets to help in this part of your wedding gets taken care of in a flash.
