Is Ugly Betty Getting Married?

February 26th, 2010 — 7:26pm

Is Ugly Betty getting married at the end of the final season?

I know, this kind of gossip is not what we usually write about on this site but as fans of the “Ugly Betty” show it is fun to touch a light topic once in a while.

America Ferrera talked to Access Hollywood about her feelings now the show is in the final season. She confirmed rumors that some characters on the show will walk down the aisle before the last episode rolls. She did not say who it will be so we will just have to guess. Betting on Betty Suarez is probably a cliché but isn’t that what we are all expecting?

Next month the actress will be starring  in “Our Family Wedding” alongside Forrest Whitaker and Taye Diggs.

I hope we will see a lot more of her soon!

Your best friend or sister is getting married, and while all eyes are on her in the beginning, there will be a brief 2-5 minute period when all eyes are on you as you give the maid of honor speech.

I read an interesting article on WNDU.com today.

Being asked to be the maid of honor in a wedding is an sign of trust. The bride knows that you will come through for her in various ways, both as the big day approaches and on her wedding day itself.

You and the bride both want this day to be memorable, in a good way of course, and you are there to make it happen. Most of these duties  you would probably do anyway, just because you are the bride’s friend. Yet, she has chosen to single you out and honor you with this job so you need to take it seriously.

This has to be a bride’s biggest nightmare. You hire an expensive wedding planner and on the biggest day of your life it all falls apart.
